He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Gordon and Roland Gray Coburn; and his siblings, William Lester Coburn, Geraldine Miculinic and Judith Cassels.
He is survived by: his wife Durlene; his sons, Rodney (Susanne) of New Bern, Mark (Sandra) of Raleigh, NC and Jeff (Susan) of Salisbury, NC; his grandchildren, Josh, Jeff, Walt, Carol, Devin and Grace Coburn; and his great grandchildren, Jett Coburn, Charlie Grace and Walker Coburn.
