She is survived by: her parent James H. Cooke Sr.; and her siblings, Dr. James H. Cooke, Jr. (Vicki) of Concord, NC, Clint Cooke (Janet) of Winterville, NC, Daniel L. Cooke (Felicia) of New Bern, NC and Angela Cooke Blanton (Michael) of New Bern, NC. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Ruth asked that donations be made to the SECU Comprehensive Cancer Center.
