She is survived by: her husband Edward Porter Armstrong; her children, Ned Armstrong, John Armstrong and Susan Rasmussen; her brother Fred Butler; her grandchildren, Garrett Taylor Rasmussen and Caroline Armstrong; her great grandchild Julian; and her pet Toby.
