With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Westin Lane Hiatt (New Bern, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 3, 2026 at the age of 10. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Jimmy, Dolores Dunham and Libby Hiatt; his aunt Trudy; his cousins, TJ, Katie and Avion; and his pastor Billy Hacker.
He is survived by: his parents, Jay Hiatt and Kim Hiatt; his siblings, Kenly, Trent, Alyssa, Jacie and Marley; his siblings-in-law, Taylor, Emily, Shawn, Noah and Ted; his nieces and nephews, Asher and Bodie; his grandfather Willie Hiatt; his aunts and uncles, Stewart (Jennifer), Matthew, Jolene (Wade), Zoanne (Tony), David (Missy) and Harold (Paula); and his cousins, Angel (Paris), Brianna (Austin), Bryce, Kevelyn, Amanda, April, Austin, Lucas, Grover, Corayah, Masyn and Tinslee.
