He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Morgan Sikes and Erma Lee May Sikes; and his brother Walter Lee Sikes. He is survived by: his spouse Pearl Gray Mitchell; his sons, Wayne Barry Sikes of New Hill and Wallace Craig Sikes of Holly Springs; his granddaughters, Jessica Carmen Sikes Williford (David Alan Williford) of Calabash and Melanie Dawn Sikes of Holly Springs; his great grandchildren, Benny Lofton Williford (Minh Thu Williford) of Da Long, Lexus Jade Cook of Raleigh, Abigail Brooklyn Cook of Holly Springs, Nicky Salvator Sikes of Parkersburg, WV and Bella Garcia Sikes of Holly Springs; and his brother Curtis Garlin Sikes (Rose Mary Oakley). He is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews; and 4 living cousins.
