He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Triplette Starnes and Sarah Allman Starnes of Concord, NC.. He is survived by: his children, Stephen Starnes Jr. (Leigh) of Jacksonville, FL and Morgan Roman (Edwin) of Concord, NC.; his siblings, Debbie Plummer (Rick), Sandy Hicks (Kelly), Ronnie Starnes (Sabrina) and Mark Starnes (Susan); his grandchildren, Emma, Paul, Hunter and Benjamin; his aunts and uncles, Jim Allman, Sam Allman, George Starnes, Mary Katherine Helms and Tommie Allman; Larry, Karen Nash, Travis Kennedy and Dale. He is also survived by cousins, nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces.
