He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lowder and Edna Lowder; and his siblings, Louis Lowder and Melinda Lowder. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Talent Lowder; his children, Sheri McGuire (Michael), James Lowder (Audrey) and Matthew Lowder (Teri); his grandchildren, MaKenna McGuire, Sarah Lowder, William Lowder, Benjamin Lowder and Grace Lowder; his brothers, O. J. Lowder (JoAnne), Donnie Lowder (Sarah) and Kim Lowder (Dana); his aunt Carolyn Thompson; and his parents-in-law, Peggye and Bill Talent.
