He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Champ, Ruth Young and Frances Orr Tatum; and his uncle Charles Dudley Young. He is survived by: his parents, Bob Tatum and Edwina Young Tatum; his wife Rose Tatum of Wilmington, NC; his uncles, Ronnie Tatum (Melissa) of Hickory and John Clark Young; and his cousin Casey Sprading of Minneapolis. He is also survived by family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Minneapolis Baptist Church (47 Minneapolis School Rd, Newland, NC 28657). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
