He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Eula; his children, Daniel and Emily Dellinger (Andrew); his grandsons, Jeremiah Johnson and Ryan Dellinger; his brother Herbie Johnson; his parents, Herbie Sr. and Aldie; his sister Barbara; and his sister-in-law Chris. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Crossnore First Baptist Church (220 Crossnore Dr, Newland, NC 28657). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
