She was predeceased by : her parents, James Voyd Stockton and Martha Barnett Stockton; her husband Gerald Lee Vance; her great grandchild Christopher Isaac Lee Blair; and her sister Lois Stockton Henson.

She is survived by : her children, Terri Yoder (Andy) of Newland, NC and L. D. Vance (Deborah) of Newland, NC; her brother John Stockton (Margaret) of Beulahdean, NC; her siblings-in-law, Elaine Vance, Gail Banner and Gary Vance (Pat); her granddaughters, Kristin Blair of Newland, NC, Kendra Griffith (Waylon) of Newland, NC, Gracie Vance of Newland, NC, Ashlie Yoder of Newland, NC and Alecia Yoder of Jonas Ridge, NC; and her great grandchildren, River, Cayden, Carlee, Piper, Mylan, Banner, Bailey, Asher and Adriyan.
