She was predeceased by: her parents, Lambert Benfield and Alma Benfield. She is survived by: her husband Oscar Cook, Jr. of Newland, NC; her children, Lisa Daniels of Oklahoma City, OK and Terry Cooke of Newland; and her grandchildren, Josh Daniels (Ciara) of Oklahoma City, OK, Rebecca Kuhen (Mitch) of Hawaii and Tim Daniels (Jamie) of Oklahoma City, OK..
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the BIG Meadows Missionary Baptist Church (1985 Horney Rd, Newland, NC 28657). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
