With solemn reverence, we commemorate Ina Mae Scott of Newland, North Carolina, born in West Jefferson, North Carolina, whose life came to an end on October 23, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving behind cherished memories. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Sheets and Lois Jones Sheets; and her daughter Ina Patricia Torrisi. She is survived by: her son Eugene Sexton (Angie) of Jefferson; her siblings, William Arthur Sheets of Annapolis, Maryland, Mabel Segraves of West Jefferson and Matrel Jones of Lansing; her grandchildren, Christopher, Crystal, Stephanie and Kaleb; her stepgranddaughter Chrystal Blevins; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Kinzley and Graelyn. She is also survived by Several nieces and nephews.
