He was predeceased by: his parents, Romer Clark and Ethel Clark; his son Matt Wayne Clark; and his siblings, Gustine Davis, Wesley, Raymond and Jack Clark.
He is survived by: his son Joseph "Joe" Clark (Hannah); and his siblings, Troy Clark, Kathie Clark, Laura Henderson, Sadie Whitaker and Lila Whittington. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Pittman Gap Community Church (8241 Buckeye Hollow Rd, Newland, NC 28641). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
