He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Wise and Ellen Ford Wise; and his siblings, Ben, Tom, Milton, Roberta, Earl and Gay.
He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Tonya Wise McKinney (Nicky) and David Wise (Sara); his grandchildren, Courtney McKinney Hicks (Kenny), Shelby Gibbs, Dillon Wise, Emma Wise, Violet Wise and Charlotte Wise; his great grandchildren, McKenna Hicks, Ellie Hicks and Breann Hicks; and his sisters, Leota Wise Coffey and Phyllis Wise Blackburn.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Newland Presbyterian Church (199 Elk St, Newland, NC 28657). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fletcher Presbyterian Chapel, PO Box 493, Newland, North Carolina, 28657.
