He is survived by: his wife Cindy Johnson; his sons, Lucas Johnson and Joey Johnson; his grandchildren, Connor Johnson and Tate Brewer; his siblings, David Johnson (Jeanette) and Jodie Turbyfill (Steve); and his siblings' children, Stephanie Clark (Arther), Melanie Turbyfill and Jacob Johnson (Alisha).
Visitation was held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Johnson Chapel Church (2241 Chestnut Dale Rd, Newland, NC 28657).
