It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Warren Longenecker of Newland, North Carolina, who passed away on April 4, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren B. Longenecker and Mary Stoner Longenecker; and his wife Janet Joline Longenecker. He is survived by: his sons, Richard Longenecker (Jennifer) of Newland, NC and John Longenecker of Kannapolis, NC; his grandsons, Richard Longenecker Jr. (Colleen) of Charlotte, NC and David Longenecker of Newland, NC; his great grandchild Winry Quinn; and his stepgrandchildren, Cassie Vance of Newland, NC, Caitlyn Klinedinst (John) of Oklahoma City, OK, Ella Singleton (Josh) of Newland, NC and Curtis Vance Jr. (Brandi) of Bristol, TN.
