She was predeceased by: her husband Ray Bare; her parents, Mabel McKinney and Cephus McKinney; and her sister Bernice Vance. She is survived by: her children, Teddy Bare (Kathy) of Frank, NC, Karen Clark (Eric) of Newland, NC and Scottie Bare of Newland, NC; her grandchild CJ Walker of Newland, NC; her children, Dereka Dunn (John) of Limestone, TN, Ashley Campbell (Brandon) of Roan Mountain, TN and Alexandria Bare of Frank, NC; her great grandchild Rylee Brown (Preston) of Newland, NC; her grandchild Kylee Dunn of Limestone, TN; her great great grandchildren, Trenton, Teagen, Tyler and Tucker Brown of Newland, NC.; and her brother Maynard McKinney (Linda) of Buck Hill. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, and many brothers- and sisters-in-law.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Eric Clark Cemetery (505 Old Montezuma Rd, Newland, NC 28657).
