William Latten Soule Jr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Latten Soule Jr. of Newland, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 21, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Latten Soule and Mary Oliver Soule; and his siblings, Oliver Soule and Bunny Gamble. He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peggy" Meyer Soule of Mary's College; his children, Bill "Beer" Soule, Mimi Soule Taylor, Bobby Soule (Kathy), KC Soule Gies (Eric) and Danny Soule (Jen); his grandchildren, Margo Taylor-Urrea, Emma Taylor, Sarah Gies Cristiano, Ana Soule Swagler, Jackson Taylor, Mary-O Soule, Katie Gies, Stephen Gies, Will Soule, Tommy Gies, Thalia Soule, Leo Soule and Zoe Soule; and his siblings, Gay Soule Duncan, Cindy Soule Davis (Tommy) and John Soule (Susan).
A Mass will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Bernadette's Catholic Church (2085 NC-105, Linville, NC 28646).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Medi Home Hospice in Avery County in Bill's memory.
