We are sad to announce that on June 29, 2023, at the age of 85, Alice Wear Dierker of Newport, North Carolina, born in Carthage, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roberta Leota Render (Render) and Vernon Martin Wear; and her siblings, Robert Edward "Bob" (Sela), William Donald "Bill" (Doris), Mary Eunice (Harlan Tobias), Donna Sue (Leroy Strieker), Frances Hope "Fran" (John Artman) and Vernon Martin "Vernie" (Gail).
She is survived by: her siblings, Roberta Katherine "Kay" (late Frank Sumner) of Quincy, IL and Alfred Louis "Bud"; her son Mark Allen (Carthage) of Dubuque, IA; her grandson Joseph Eugene; her husband Hank of Newport, NC; her son Joseph (Rhia Bucklin) of Seattle, WA; and her brother Bud Wear (Linda) of Carthage, IL. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and their extended families.
Mark and Joe were spread out across the US but they always came home at Christmas except where the Covid years would not allow.
