She was predeceased by: her father Billy Nelson. She is survived by: her children, Rose Morton (Rob Roy) of Newport, Wendy Jones (Robert) of Newport and Gene Winans Jr. of Leland; and her sister Judy Nelson of South Mills, NC. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.
