He was predeceased by: his wife Lorie Cox. He is survived by: his son Mathew Windham of Morehead City; his brother Myron Cox (Shirl) of Newport; his father-in-law Jim Lenhart of Morehead City; his sister-in-law Tammy Lenhart of Morehead City; and his grandchildren, Cassidy, Heath and David.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Rainbow United Methodist Church Cemetery (3150 NC-58, Snow Hill, NC 28580).
