He was predeceased by: his mother Eula Mae Locklear; his son Michael Locklear; and his siblings, Darlene Taylor, Betty Faye Cummings and Thomas Hall.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Locklear; his children, Melinda Dunn (Jamie) of Newport, NC, Stephanie Locklear of Hubert, NC, Cherry Gail Locklear of Greenville, NC and Thomas Locklear (Kim) of Newport, NC; and his grandchildren, Danielle Morton (Shahab), Victoria Morton (Zach), Mariah Hart (Jeremy), Sarah Mohr (Ryan), Michael Locklear (Caroline), Justin Locklear (Polly), Briana Stott (Ben), Dallas Locklear and Nina Denny. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Munden Funeral Home & Crematory (2112 Arendell St, Morehead City, NC 28557). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at the Broad Creek Community Cemetery (2733 NC-24, Newport, NC 28570).
