She is survived by: her husband William "Buddy" Avery of Newport; her sons, William Avery Jr. (Amy) of Newport and Christopher Allen Avery (Shannon) of Greenville; her grandchildren, Kayleigh, David Glenn, Madelyn Grace and James Ryan; her niece Kim Mason of Wilson; and her sister Donna Thomas of Newport.
