With profound sadness, we say goodbye to David Wayne Barry of Newport, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. David Wayne left this world on July 30, 2025 at the age of 68, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Suggett and Ruth Suggett; his granddaughter Charlotte Anne Barry; and his brother-in-law Bill Jones. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl; his children, Maegan Smith (Joey) of Hubert, NC and Joe Barry (Megan) of Beulaville, NC; his sister Anna Marie Jones of Middleburg, FL; his sister-in-law Lisa Brenay of Morehead City, NC; his grandchildren, Madison Tyler, Maverick Barry, Lainey Tyler, Jackson Tyler, Parker Barry and Ryleigh Smith; his sibling's children, Heather Braun (James) and Jason Jones (Tammy); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jayson Jones, Ceara Braun and Zachary Braun.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Munden Funeral Home (2112 Arendell St, Morehead City, NC 28557). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
