He is survived by: his wife Mercedes Myers; his children, Joan McCartney (Jeffrey) of Newport, NC and Joseph DiCorsi of Newport, NC; his grandchildren, Jessica Scruggs and Jason McCartney (Sandee); and his great grandchildren, Madison Dixon, Juliet Dixon, Skylar Scruggs, Daxon Scruggs, Charlotte Scruggs, Mollie Jo McCartney and Madison McCartney.
