It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glenda Faye McCain of Newport, North Carolina, who passed away on January 19, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rupert Gould and Ethel Gould; and her husband Daniel "D. N." McCain. She is survived by: her children, Teresa Miller (Tom) of Beaufort, NC, Wendy McCain of Newport, NC and Dennis McCain (Krysta) of Rocky Point, NC; her brother Wally R. Gould (Patsy) of Newport, NC; her grandchildren, Ryan Miller (Chelsea), Erin Smith (Stephen), Jordan Miller (Emily), Morgan McCain, Emma Faye McCain and Curtis Wade McCain; her great grandchildren, Thomas, Anna, John Ryan, Henry, Jack and Evelyn Faye; her niece Karen Gould; her nephew Andrew Gould; her great-nephew Hayden; and her caregiver Debbie Tomlinson.
