He was predeceased by: his parents, John Combes and Patricia Combes; and his siblings, Donna Simmons and John Combes. He is survived by: his wife Mary Combes; his daughters, Jasmine Combes (Dennis Dyczewski) of Newport and Tiffany Magouirk (Tyler) of Stedman; his siblings, Deborah Carlin of Florida, Brian Combes of Port Richy, FL and Robert "Bobby" Combes of Chesapeake, VA; and his grandchildren, Logan Barton, Blake Barton, Darian Guthrie, Jr. and Rachel Magouirk.
