He is survived by: his wife Carole Dodson Poole; his children, Andrew Poole of Emerald Isle, NC and Rebecca Poole of Newport, NC; his grandchildren, Bodie Morris of Newport, NC. and Abi Morris of Newport, NC.; his sisters, Ouida Tucker of Pleasant Garden, NC and Ann Drake of Stephens City, VA; and his pets, Pouncy and TyTy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
