She is survived by: her daughter Michelle Moore (Serenity) of Newport; her sister Esther Brown of New Bern; her stepchildren, Angela Matthews (Walter Willis) of Aurora and Gary Matthews of Broad Creek; and her friend Laura Newman (Howard) of Asheville. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
