He is survived by: his wife Cristie Burns; his children, Autumn, Jordan, Matthew and Cristian; his mother Mary Russell; his siblings, Mary Murray and Gilbert Burns (Shannon); his mother-in-law Betty Carraway; and his grandchildren, Kayden, Layla, Rylee, Romen and Neiko.
A memorial gathering was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Munden Funeral Home & Crematory (700 NC-24, Newport, NC 28570).
