We are sad to announce that on March 23, 2024, at the age of 85, Joyce Powell of Newport, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, John Russell and Beulah Russell; her husband Bobby Powell; and her siblings, Doris Russell, Marie King, Calvin Russell, David Russell and Mitchell Russell.

She is survived by : her brother Johnny Russell (Joyce) of Reidsville, NC.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Living Waters Church of God of Prophecy, 5388 Highway 24, Newport, NC 28570.
