It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Lou Dufour of Newport, North Carolina, who passed away on March 25, 2026, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Dufour and Anna Dufour; her son Anthony "Tony" Lopez; and her siblings, Elaine Martin, Rose Myers, Betty Dow, Marie Mae Willis, Bernard Dufour and Lenny Dufour Jr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Lopez (Tony) of Newport, NC and Amy Robles (Angel) of New Bern, NC; her daughter-in-law Jodi Lopez of Wisconsin; her siblings, Anita Hardy of Newport, NC and Maynard Dufour (Nancy) of Newport, NC; her grandchildren, Brian "Scotty" Lopez, Crystal Lopez, Nicholas "Nick" Lopez, Sabrina Lopez, Anastacia Robles and Vladimir "Vlad" Robles; and her caregivers, Roger and Charlene Stearns.
