It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melanie Young Case of Newport, North Carolina, who passed away on December 2, 2023, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Casey Case; and her father Richard Young. She is survived by: her mother Janice Young; her children, Joshua Smith (Jennifer), Jennifer O'Neil (Matthew) and Madison Knopp (Wyatt); her grandchildren, Brianna, Skylar, Ryleigh, Landon, Dylan and Keeley; and her brother Ron Young. She is also survived by many loving family members and close friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made in Melanie's honor to your favorite charity.
