She was predeceased by : her parents, Clarence Thurber and Rosa Thurber; her husband Hawkins W. Hibbs, Sr.; and her siblings, Clarence Thurber, Jr., Alonzo Thurber, Dorothea Palmisciano (Anthony), Helen Yonker (John) and Joanne Williams (Prescott).
She is survived by : her children, Hawkins Hibbs, Jr., David Parker Hibbs (Carlene) and Lisa G. Hunter (James).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks to make donations to the Crystal Coast Hospice House located at 100 Big Rock Weigh Newport, NC 28570.
