He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, John (Cathy) and Kimberly Hicks (Clay); and his grandchildren, James, Angel, Nikita, Cora, Nate and Seth. He is also survived by six great grandchildren; sister-in-law; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Munden Funeral Home (2112 Arendell St, Morehead City, NC 28557). The military honors will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at the Amariah Garner Cemetery (550 Nine Foot Rd, Newport, NC 28570).
