He is survived by: his daughters, Pam Olsson of Newport and Carlotta Riggs Fox of Greenville; and his brother Donnie Riggs of Greenville. He is also survived by four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Cotten Funeral Home (2201 Neuse Blvd, New Bern, NC 28560). A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Greenleaf Memorial Park (900 River Rd, New Bern, NC 28562).
