She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Akers and Katherine Akers; her husband Roger Poling; and her siblings, Martha Akers, Ronald and Phillip Akers.
She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Odham (Andy) of Newport, Julia Young (Blaine) of Weatherford, TX, Richard Poling (Brennan) of Lenoir City, TN and Samuel Poling (Silvia) of New Bern; her sister Pamela Akers of Portsmouth, OH; her sisters-in-law, Ruth Akers and Susan Salmons; her grandchildren, Stephanie, Katie, Jill, Thomas, Emily, Jacob, Meredith, Jessica, Carissa, Caitlyn, Samantha and Madeline; and her great grandchildren, Hunter, Cody, Tabitha, Terry, Taylor, Shawn, Caleb, Alyssa and Ellie.
