He was predeceased by: his father Winston Stephenson; his sons, Wayne and Robbie Stephenson (Beth) of Mill Creek; and his sisters, Carolyn Yeargan and Frances Stephenson.
He is survived by: his daughter Lynn Godwin (Derick) of Smithfield; his siblings, Becky Stephenson (Al Castro) of Gloucester and Ed Stephenson (Kaye) of Hutchins, NC; and his grandchildren, Scott Godwin, Kasey Davis, Justin Godwin of Cameron Stephenson, D. J, Cody Stephenson, Christopher Stephenson, Benjamin Stephenson, Emily Arroqui and Nathaniel Stephenson. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
