She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Brown and Mattie Belle Brown. She is survived by: her husband Harry Thompson of Newport; her stepdaughter Lavanda Thompson Luna of Fredericksburg, VA; and her stepgrandsons, Nicholas and Raiden. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
