It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Talton of Newport, North Carolina, born in Morehead City, North Carolina, who passed away on February 29, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Bill Gorges and Avis Gorges; her husband Randy Talton; her children, Tiana John of Newport, Joseph King (Kerri) of New Bern and Jason King (Ali) of Sanford; her siblings, Victoria Austin of Beaufort and William David Gorges of New Bern; and her grandchildren, Liam and Ramie.
