He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Dail and Martha Dail; his wife Cynthis Mann Dail; and his brothers, Jack Dail, Jim Dail, Dalton Dail and Thurman "Pete" Dail.
He is survived by: his sons, William Dail (Mary) of Newport, N. C. and Paul "Pokey" Dail (Beth) of Newport, N. C.; his sister Wendy Troop of Newport, N. C.; and his grandchildren, Ashley Dail and Michele Fulcher. He is also survived by several loving great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Graham Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Cemetery (3448 Mill Creek Rd, Newport, NC 28570).
