He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Meadows Sr. and Pearl Bell; and his sister Barbara Meadows. He is survived by: his wife Deneen Meadows; his children, Mandy Smith (Bryan Duker) of Hardy, VA and Jonathan Meadows of Newport, NC; the parent of his children Merita Gail Payne; his children, Barbie Griffith of Beaufort, NC, Bridgette Knapp (Michael) of Newport, NC, William "Billy" Meadows Jr. of Wilmington, NC and Austin Fulcher of Newport, NC; and his brother Paul Meadows (Carol) of Havelock, NC. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Munden Funeral Home (700 NC-24, Newport, NC 28570). The military honors will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Gethsemane Memorial Park (700 NC-24, Newport, NC 28570).
