He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Lib" Jones Skipper; his children, Teresa DeVos (Jack) of Dunwoody, Georgia, Eugene "Max" Skipper, Jr. of Deltona, Florida, Debra Hairr (Jim Butler) of Clinton and Rusty Smith (Helen) of Willow Spring; his siblings, Kathleen Cope of Pleasant Garden, William Howard Skipper, Jr. (Lou) of Cary and Martin Earl Skipper (Sharon) of Hampstead; his grandchildren, Brandon Hairr (Diana), Lauren West (Joseph), Rachel Smith, Alison Smith, Kristen Karp (Philip), Katelyn Pike (Matthew), Dakota Czerniak (Gage) and Tucker Skipper; and his great grandchildren, Gavin Hairr, Kadelyn Hairr, Zannah Hairr, Barrett West, Maddox West and Miles Karp.
