In the vast expanse of eternity, LaRuth shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid LaRuth farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jake Lee; her parents, Samuel D. Johnson and Louise Johnson; her son John J. Lee; and her granddaughter Amy Lee.
She is survived by: her children, William "Pud" Lee (Monica) of Newton Grove and Barbara Aman of Mt. Olive; and her daughter-in-law Elizabeth H. Lee of Newton Grove. She is also survived by six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and eight great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Smyrna Ofwb Church (11415 NC-96, Dunn, NC 28334). A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
