It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lela Jean Jackson of Newton Grove, North Carolina, who passed away on February 13, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Albert Baker and Pennie Baker; her husband Donnie Carol Jackson; her son Phillip D'Carol Jackson; her brother James; and her sister-in-law Jennette Baker.
She is survived by : her sister Faye Baker Carr. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
