She was predeceased by : her parents, Ildefonso Esquivel and Apolonia Mercado; and her children, Yolanda Ibarra, Francisco Vasquez and Matias I. Vasquez.
She is survived by : her children, Apolonia Carranza (Dairon), Juana Julia Vasquez (Valentine) and Lucio Vasquez (Molly); and her sisters, Juana Esquivel and Dora Demasi.
