Barbara York Huffman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara York Huffman of Newton, North Carolina, who passed away on May 23, 2026 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John York and Vera Flowers York; and her siblings, Frances Creasy and James York. She is survived by: her husband Bobby Huffman; her daughters, Kathy Huffman of Newton and Connie Cabe of Conover; her son-in-law Jimmy Cabe of Conover; her brother Reggie York (Patsy) of Newton; and her grandchildren, Brittany Cabe, Marissa Cabe and Dylan Cabe.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Emmanuel Baptist Church (1405 Emmanuel Church Rd, Conover, NC 28613). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
