She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul D. Ashley and Pearl Mae Harris Ashley; her husband Charles Kenneth Carter, Sr.; her son Gerald Davis; and her brother James Ashley.
She is survived by: her son Charles Carter (Cheryl). She is also survived by four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
