He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Pinkney Barber Sr. and Brentie Shuford Barber; his wife Linda Kay Young Barber; and his grandson Brandon O'Neal Bass. He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Allen Barber (Crystal) of Newton and Lisa Marie Cody (Leonard) of Summerville; and his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Brown (Aaron) and Adam Barber.
