He was predeceased by: his parents, Dura Virgil and Lela Mae Pitman (Gouge); and his sister Judy Kay Pitman Lail. He is survived by: his wife Linda Marie Pitman; his son Shane; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Pitman; his grandchildren, Mitchell Pitman (Kaitlyn) and Courtney Pennell (Christopher); his great grandchildren, Maya and Holly Pennell; and his brother Gray Henry Pitman.
